On October 7th, Zhengzhou Airport completed a total international and regional cargo throughput of 471,800 tons this year, surpassing last years total international and regional cargo throughput by more than two months and marking a year-on-year increase of 40.6%.

       According to the strategic deployment of * * and the province * *, Zhongyu Aviation Group actively plays the role and mission of the main platform for modern aviation hub construction, focusing on building the Zhengzhou International Air Cargo Hub, coordinating the advantages of airlines and hub airports, strengthening the leading position, attracting resources, and expanding the volume. Zhengzhou Airports international and regional cargo and mail throughput has consistently ranked fifth in the country and first in the central region for many years, second only to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.

       The Zhengzhou Luxembourg "Air Silk Road" provides backbone support for the construction of an international air cargo hub in Zhengzhou. Since its launch in Zhengzhou in 2014, Luxembourg Cargo Airlines has contributed a total of 1.3 million tons of cargo to Zhengzhou Airport. In the first nine months of this year, the cargo volume of Luxembourg Cargo Airlines in Zhengzhou reached 105200 tons, accounting for 22.9% of the international and regional cargo and mail throughput of Zhengzhou Airport.

       Driven by the "Air Silk Road" from Zhengzhou to Luxembourg, China Henan Airlines Group continues to expand its "dual hub" cooperation and build a global freight route network. On October 3rd, with the arrival of a full cargo plane from Luxembourg Cargo Airlines in Zhengzhou, the entry and exit cargo volume of Zhengzhou Air Port in 2025 exceeded 10000, becoming a "10000 flight" level air port in central China, and the carrying capacity of the "Air Silk Road" continues to upgrade.

       Since the beginning of this year, Zhengzhou Airport has attracted 8 cargo airlines including Denmarks Maersk Air, UAEs Etihad Airways, and Saudi Airlines to settle in. It has also opened 12 new international cargo routes from Zhengzhou to Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Brussels, and increased the number of international cargo routes from Zhengzhou to Li è ge, Istanbul, Tashkent, and other destinations. As of the end of September, there were a total of 35 all cargo airlines operating in Zhengzhou (29 in international regions), 64 all cargo routes opened (46 in international regions), 67 cities navigable (49 in international regions), and 31 countries navigable. The radiation range of the international cargo route network centered on Zhengzhou has significantly increased.

       Another set of noteworthy data comes from cross-border e-commerce business. In recent years, Chinas cross-border e-commerce platforms and logistics enterprises have flourished overseas, and cross-border e-commerce business has become an important sector of the air freight market. Currently, 80% of cross-border e-commerce goods are transported by air. In the first nine months of this year, Zhengzhou Airport completed a cumulative cross-border e-commerce cargo volume of 180000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 106.2%, accounting for 52% of the international export volume.

       According to incomplete statistics, the daily demand for cross-border e-commerce cargo air transportation in China exceeds 15000 tons, with sensitive goods (such as cosmetics, electrified goods, etc.) that are difficult to safeguard accounting for nearly one-third. In response, Zhongyu Aviation Group has innovatively adopted measures such as establishing a security service alliance, building a data sharing platform, and pre consistency matching to solve core problems such as report collection and verification, cargo certificate verification, etc., greatly improving the efficiency of cross-border e-commerce sensitive cargo protection at Zhengzhou Airport. It has also continuously increased investment in security personnel and equipment at the international express center, renovated and expanded the outbound cross-border operation area, and provided solid support for * * to ensure cross-border e-commerce cargo. At present, the "Four Little Dragons" of cross-border e-commerce (TEMU, SHEIN, TIKTOK, AliExpress) have all settled at Zhengzhou Airport.

       Zhang Mingchao, the Party Committee and Chairman of Zhongyu Aviation Group, stated that in the next step, Zhongyu Aviation Group will continue to focus on the "two highs and four focuses", implement the strategic deployment of * * and the province * *, take the construction of the "Air Silk Road" as * *, enhance and strengthen the radiation and influence of Zhengzhou International Air Cargo Hub, and make new contributions to the construction of a unified national market circulation hub in our province, the creation of a dual circulation pivot for domestic and international markets, and the expansion of high-level opening up to the outside world.
